The days end.

Remember, happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think.
                                                                                                                                    -Dale Carnegie.

I know what I think.  :)

Tea for three?

I was invited to a tea party today hosted by Amber.

                                               Ella joined us.
We all enjoyed our spot of tea.
However, I informed the children they had to promptly work on their pinky style
if they were going to drink tea properly.

Good work girls...well done!
The tea party was a success. I had a delightful time.
The girls are continuing to go around the house saying
"Oh crumpets" , "don't mind if I do", and "cheerio" in their finest English accents.

Pour Hailey Bug was unable to join us.

She is feeling a bit under the weather.
We are all praying for a speedy recovery so she can join us
for our next evening tea.

A moment

The kids are asleep, the house is clean, and the only sound I hear is the hum of the computer.  As I take a deep breath in and reflect on the day I am reminded of a quote." If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can not buy."  - unknown-
I am feeling like the richest person I know.  I have spent the last week in a flurry of emotions trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together only to find out there is a piece missing and it is impossible to finish.  So what do you do then? Take a lesson from a five year old.  "This puzzle is boring...lets go ride bikes."  Perspective. It really  does change your view.

Mommy's little helper

While I was taking a shower Hailey took over story time with Amber.  Thanks mommy's little helper.

My first blog posting.

The smell of fresh cut grass or the air just before it rains. Coffee.  A rainbow.  A baby's cry. A child's laughter.  A smile.  A knowing glance.  The quiet of the mountains or the noise of the rolling waves. The sound of leaves rustling in the distance. A kiss.  Love.  Love of God. Love of Parents. Love of my husband. Love of friends. Love of my children. These are just a few things that have made etchings or "Echings" (as I call them) in my life.
I plan to share some life experiences, daily happenings, and a little insight into my heart and mind.  Journey into my world.
